The Frame is designed to sit flat against the wall like a picture, so there is no gap to hide anything in. That changes the whole job: the wall has to be flat, the bracket has to be shimmed true, and the cabling has to be planned before the first hole rather than tidied afterwards.
How much does Samsung Frame TV mounting cost?
From $259.99 for sets up to 65 inches and from $299.99 for 77 inch and larger sets on regular drywall. Recessing the One Connect box into the wall is an added charge on top of that, and above a fireplace or on marble and stone we quote once we have seen a photo.
Where does the One Connect box go on a Frame install?
Either in a nearby cabinet or recessed into the wall behind or below the screen, which is what most people want. Recessing keeps the single thin cable as the only thing running to the TV and leaves nothing sitting on a shelf to be knocked.
What size back box does a Frame TV need?
For 32 inch sets, a 9x14 inch AV back box with the Mini One Connect box fitted horizontally near the bottom of the TV. For 43 and 50 inch, a 9x14 inch box with slight modification. For 55 inch and larger, a 17x14 inch box, which also leaves room for the Slim Fit wall mount.
Will the Frame sit completely flush to the wall?
That is what the slim-fit no-gap mount is for, and yes, if the wall behind it is flat and the bracket is properly shimmed. A bump in the plaster or a bracket a couple of millimetres out shows immediately on a Frame in a way it never would on an ordinary TV.
Can a Samsung Frame TV be mounted above a fireplace?
Yes, with the screen above the mantel and the height set from your seating rather than from the mantel. A metal mount above a fireplace starts at $399.99, and stone or marble surrounds are quoted on a photo first.
