About Us
About Us: The GTA’s TV Wall Mounting Specialists
We mount televisions. That’s the whole job description, and that’s rather the point — you’re not hiring a general handyman who’ll figure out your wall on the day. Since 2017 we’ve put more than 10,000 screens on walls across Toronto and the GTA, and we’re still out there seven days a week doing exactly that.
- Same-day and next-day appointments, 7 days a week
- Multiple technicians across 25 GTA municipalities
- $2,000,000 liability cover and a one-year warranty
Not ready to book? Send a photo of the wall and we’ll tell you straight what it’ll take.

Who we are
A Company That Does One Thing, All Day, Every Day
GTA TV Wall Mounting is a Greater Toronto Area installation company built around a single specialty: getting screens onto walls properly and getting the cables out of sight. We started in 2017 because condo owners kept asking for that exact thing and kept getting it done badly — a bracket into drywall with no stud behind it, a power bar dangling under the TV, and a shrug.
So we made it the only thing we do. Not renovations with a bit of AV on the side. Not a handyman service that’ll try a TV if the day’s quiet. Just TV wall mounting, wire concealment and the low-voltage work that goes with them — done often enough that there’s very little left in a Toronto living room we haven’t already met.
Ten thousand installations later, the questions we ask before a booking are still about the wall and the wiring rather than about the television. What the wall’s made of decides the anchor. Where the outlets and sources sit decides the cable route. The TV, honestly, is the easy part.
- Drywall over wood studs
- Metal studs — condos and offices
- Brick, stone and solid concrete
- Plaster and lath in older Toronto homes
- Fireplaces, feature walls and mantels
- Commercial, retail and industrial sites

How the company runs today
Independently Operated, With a Real Team Behind the Phone
GTA TV Wall Mounting is owned and operated independently of its founder. What changed was the ownership; the crew didn’t. The technicians who have been doing this work here for years are the same technicians doing it now, and there are enough of them that we can say “tomorrow” and mean it.
- The same crew that built the reputation, still doing the installs
- Multiple technicians working across the GTA at the same time
- Same-day and next-day appointments, seven days a week
- Booking hours 9:00am to 8:00pm, weekends included
- Three home bases: Thornhill, Richmond Hill and Toronto
- One company standard — whoever shows up works the same way
- Warranty and insurance held by the company, not by an individual
- Firm pricing quoted before anyone is dispatched
- Certificate of insurance for condo boards on request

The standard
What “Done Properly” Actually Means Here
Anyone can hang a TV. The difference shows up two years later, when somebody wants to swap the screen, add a soundbar or open the wall — and either finds a traceable, labelled install or a mystery.
So we identify the wall before anything is drilled, size the bracket to the TV’s real weight and VESA pattern rather than to the box it came in, set the height off where you actually sit, and plan the cable route first so we cut once. Power goes in on an in-wall-rated kit — never an extension cord buried in a cavity, which is both a fire risk and a code violation people somehow keep committing.
Then we tidy up, hook your devices back up, and don’t leave until the picture’s on. If you’d like to see how that turns out, there’s a full gallery of finished work and a set of written-up projects covering the more awkward ones.

Questions we get asked
Frequently Asked Questions
If yours isn’t here, just ask us — or dig through the guides.
Who runs GTA TV Wall Mounting today?
The company is owned and operated independently of its founder. The change was at the ownership level only - the crew stayed, and the company is now led by an owner from a similar technical background with the same expertise. Day-to-day work is handled by a team of technicians spread across the GTA, which is exactly why we can hold same-day and next-day slots seven days a week rather than routing every job through one person's calendar.
How soon can somebody actually come out?
Usually same day or next day. We book seven days a week, 9:00am to 8:00pm, and because there is more than one technician working at a time we are rarely quoting you a slot two weeks out.
Which parts of the GTA do you cover?
Twenty-five municipalities, from Toronto and Scarborough out to Burlington, Oshawa, Georgina and Brock, run out of three locations in Thornhill, Richmond Hill and Toronto.
Are you insured, and can a condo board see proof?
Yes. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance and a certificate of insurance goes to your condo board or property manager on request, usually the same day you ask for it.
What happens if something goes wrong after you leave?
You call us and we come back. Every installation carries a one-year material and workmanship warranty, and that warranty is held by the company, not by any individual installer.
How much does TV wall mounting cost?
Fixed and tilt mounting starts at $179.99 for labour, full-motion at $189.99, and in-wall wire concealment at $79.99. Send the TV size, a photo of the wall and your postal code and you get a firm number back, not a range.
Where the Company Came From
GTA TV Wall Mounting was founded in 2017 by Denis Valasevich. At the request of the company’s previous ownership we’re keeping his story on the record here, at the bottom of the page, because it’s where the standards described above actually came from.

Denis arrived in Canada in 2007 from Eastern Europe carrying an industrial engineer-electrician diploma and, more usefully, a willingness to climb things. He started where a lot of good installers start — on a ladder, fitting satellite systems for Bell ExpressVu — and by 2009 he had launched his own installation company, growing it to a team of eleven covering the Greater Toronto Area.
He stepped away from that business in 2012 and spent the next few years going deeper rather than wider: home theatre, structured wiring, surround sound. By the time he came out the other side, TV installation across residential, commercial and industrial sites wasn’t a service he offered so much as a trade he’d finished learning.
Then in 2017 he noticed something specific. Condo dwellers wanted the screen flat on the wall and the cables gone, they wanted it done in an afternoon without a renovation, and almost nobody was treating that as a craft in its own right. So he founded GTA TV Wall Mounting to do exactly that and nothing else — and for years afterwards he was personally on nearly every installation, which is where the habits on this page were set. The phone number printed on the branded shirt in the photos further up is still the number at the top of this page.
Where things stand today. Denis is no longer an owner or operator of GTA TV Wall Mounting, and he is not involved in the company’s day-to-day management, scheduling, quoting or installation work. The account above is published as historical background about how the business was founded, at the request of the company’s previous ownership. It is not a representation that he performs, supervises or is otherwise connected to any work booked through this website.
GTA TV Wall Mounting is now owned and operated independently of him, by a team of technicians who work to the standards described on this page and who carry the company’s own $2,000,000 liability insurance and one-year material and workmanship warranty. Any question about a current booking, a completed installation or warranty coverage should come to the company directly on (647) 839-5215 or through our contact page — not to him.
What hasn’t changed. The change is at the ownership level and nowhere else. The professional crew who have been doing this work here for years have all stayed — same people, same tools, same standards on your wall — and the company is now led by an owner who comes from a similar technical background and brings the same expertise to it. New name on the paperwork; the same team on the ladder.
