Ten Years of Reviews From GTA Homeowners

Read them below, straight from the platforms our customers posted them on. Then read what sits behind them: one company doing one job across Toronto and the GTA since 2017, and more than 10,000 screens that are still where we left them.

  • 5.0 average on Google, Yelp and HomeStars
  • HomeStars Best of Award winner, 2018 to 2023
  • Best of Houzz Service, 2018 to 2021

Send a photo of the wall, the TV size and your postal code, and you get a firm price back rather than a range.

By the numbers

Ten Years of Getting TVs Onto Walls

10K+Installations done

20+Years combined experience

26GTA cities covered

$2MLiability cover

A GTA TV Wall Mounting technician standing beside a finished installation, driver still in hand, with the flat screen mounted level and the cable pulled into a single tidy drop behind the console
Drill down, job done, screen level, one clean cable drop behind the console. The photo that would actually prove the point is the one nobody takes: this same wall two years on, with no call back to us in between.

Why they all say the same thing

One Job, Done Since 2017

We opened with one service on the list and we still have one. Mounting screens and hiding the cable is the whole business, which is rather why the reviews get repetitive. Doing the same job ten thousand times narrows the range of outcomes.

That count teaches you things a general trade never gets the reps to learn. Which downtown towers pour concrete right up to the drywall and which leave you a cavity. That a 1940s plaster-and-lath wall in Leaside will spall if you drill it dry, and that the lath sits at 16 inches until the day it doesn’t. That the outlet decides the cable route, so you ask where it is before anybody talks about brackets.

None of that is visible in a photo of a finished television. It turns up later, in the review somebody writes, and in the call we never get.

  • Drywall over wood studs
  • Metal studs in condos and offices
  • Brick, stone and solid concrete
  • Plaster and lath in older Toronto homes
  • Fireplaces, feature walls and mantels
  • Commercial, retail and industrial sites

The people who turn up

Trained, Employed and Insured

Every technician on the crew works for GTA TV Wall Mounting directly. Nobody gets dispatched to your address from an app, and nobody meets your wall type for the first time on your job.

Trained in-house first

A new technician works alongside an experienced one before leading an install. What they learn first is the part you never see: choosing an anchor for what is genuinely behind the surface, checking the VESA pattern against the TV’s real weight rather than the number on the box, and running in-wall-rated power, because an extension cord buried in a cavity is both a fire risk and a code violation.

Two decades between them

Combined field experience across the crew runs past twenty years, and most of it was earned on GTA housing stock rather than somewhere with different walls. Condo concrete, metal stud, brick, and the plaster and lath that makes half of old Toronto interesting.

$2,000,000 liability cover

Commercial liability insurance sits behind every job. A certificate of insurance goes to your condo board or property manager on request, which is the document building management will want before they release the elevator.

A warranty the company holds

One year on material and workmanship. That warranty belongs to GTA TV Wall Mounting rather than to whoever was on site, so it still stands if that technician has since moved on. You call the same number either way.

Recognition

Six Straight Years of HomeStars Best of Award

HomeStars named us a Best of Award winner every year from 2018 through 2023, and Houzz gave us Best of Houzz Service from 2018 through 2021. Neither one gets entered, bought or campaigned for. Both are decided on what homeowners filed after the job was finished, which makes them a fair summary of the carousel at the top of this page.

Questions we get asked

Frequently Asked Questions

If yours isn’t here, just ask us.

Where do these reviews come from?

Google, Yelp and HomeStars. The carousel near the top of this page pulls them in from those three profiles and shows the live count and average, so nobody here edits a word or picks which ones you see. If somebody wrote that we ran forty minutes late, that is what you will read.

How long has GTA TV Wall Mounting been doing this?

Since 2017, and the crew brings more than twenty years of field experience between them. Over 10,000 televisions have gone up in that time, across 26 GTA municipalities, seven days a week.

Are your installers trained, or is it whoever is free that day?

They are our own employees, not subcontractors picked up job by job. New technicians work alongside an experienced one before they lead an install, and what they learn first is the unglamorous part: which anchor a wall actually takes, how to check VESA pattern against real TV weight, and why in-wall-rated power is the only power that goes inside a wall.

Are you insured, and can my condo board see the certificate?

Yes to both. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance goes to your condo board or property manager on request. Ask when you book and we will send it.

What happens if I am not happy with the work?

You call us and we come back. Every installation carries a one-year material and workmanship warranty, and that warranty is held by the company rather than by whichever technician was on site, so it stands whoever has moved on since.

What have you won?

HomeStars named us a Best of Award winner every year from 2018 through 2023, and Houzz gave us Best of Houzz Service from 2018 through 2021. Both are decided on what customers wrote after the job was finished.
