TV Mounting for Caledon Homes, Farms and Storefronts
Village bungalow or ten-acre property, the pricing is just as straight and the same $2,000,000 liability cover and one-year workmanship warranty apply.
-
Clear, Up-Front Pricing
Up to 50% less than comparable big-box store installation services. Fixed and tilting mounts on drywall start at $179.99, full-motion at $189.99, hardware billed separately. Stone and masonry walls get the same straight number once we’ve seen them.
-
Your Guaranteed Peace Of Mind Is Our Warranty
Stone anchors, garage siding or plain drywall over studs, whatever went into the job, if it comes loose we come back and fix it at no charge. That’s what the one-year material and workmanship warranty covers.
-
Commercial Liability Insurance $2,000,000
Let’s say we fumble the TV over a stone hearth. If that ever happens, $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance stands behind the mistake.
What the Install Day Looks Like
Whatever the wall turns out to be, the job wraps in a single visit, 9:00am to 8:00pm every day of the week. Caledon East and Bolton often get next-day slots; further out past Belfountain can add a day to the schedule.
-
We get to know the wall before we touch it
We read the wall before the tape measure comes out — stone, block, plaster or plain drywall over studs, since a Caledon job could be any of those. Once we know what we’re working with, we settle the height standing in your room rather than guessing it from the doorway.
-
Up it goes, level and working
Bracket up, screen on, and levelled with a tool, not eyeballed. It stays that way once we walk away, too — a quick check on the mounting hardware before we call it finished, so there’s no wobble waiting to be discovered next week.
-
The van doesn’t leave until the mess does
Offcuts, packaging and any masonry dust get cleaned up before we go. That’s part of the visit, not a separate line on your invoice.
What’s Included and What’s Priced Separately
The price breaks into three lines instead of one number: installation, hardware and cabling. A stone fireplace or a garage workshop can shift the last two, but the installation line is always what’s on the chart above.
-
Included in every job
A cleaned-up work site and a one-year workmanship warranty, on every Caledon job regardless of wall type.
-
Priced separately
The mount and any cabling are their own line items, never folded into the installation price shown above. A sleeve anchor for stone costs the same to quote as a drywall anchor.
-
Confirmed when you book
What’s behind the wall, and how far the cable run has to travel, gets settled at booking. Supplying your own bracket or cable is fine too. We’ll fit what you hand us.

Stone and masonry work
Stone and masonry fireplaces can take a mounted TV
Rough stone and solid masonry are strong enough to mount into, but they don’t behave like drywall, so the approach changes card by card below.
-
Sleeve and wedge anchors hold in solid stone
A hammer drill and masonry bit first, then sleeve or wedge anchors set into the mass of the stone rather than the surface skin. It’s a slower job than drywall, but the hold is stronger once it’s in.
-
Heat and mantel depth set the real height
Heat and mantel depth decide the height more than the stone does. If a position sits too close to the firebox or too high above the mantel to be comfortable, we’ll say so before drilling rather than after.
-
The framed wall beside the stone is another option
The framed drywall section next to a stone surround takes a standard bracket and lets the cable run inside the wall, where going through the stone itself would need a surface channel instead.
Detached garages and workshops
Outbuilding jobs start with the wall and the power, not the bracket
If the screen’s going up in an outbuilding rather than the house, the wall and the power supply are usually the two things worth checking first.
-
Garage and shop walls aren’t always a standard stud wall
Sometimes it’s steel siding over metal purlins instead of drywall over studs, or block construction in an older shop. We check what we’re anchoring into before assuming it’s a standard stud wall.
-
Power has to already be run to the space
Whatever’s already run to the space, which varies a lot — a proper outlet near the mounting point, or nothing closer than the house. Tell us what’s there and we’ll work with it rather than assuming.
-
Dust and temperature change the approach in a working shop
In a working shop, we’ll route cable and choose hardware with that in mind rather than treating it like a finished family room.
Big rooms, longer views
A long rural living room changes where the TV goes
Long, open rural rooms create their own problems: glare off big windows, a wall that looks central but isn’t, and a viewing distance nobody measured before buying the TV.
-
Glare from a wall of windows sets the real position
We look at where the light falls at the times you’ll be watching, not just where the wall happens to be, and we’ll suggest a different position if the obvious wall fights the window all afternoon.
-
Mounting height changes in a long room
A screen mounted for a 20-foot sightline sits differently than one mounted for a cosy den, and going by the middle of the wall usually puts it too high once you’re sitting at the far end of the room.
-
The room doesn’t need to be finished for us to plan it
Tell us roughly where the furniture is heading, even if nothing’s arrived yet, and we’ll work from that instead of guessing from the empty space in front of us.
Mounting a 65-Inch TV or Larger
Past roughly 65 inches, we’ll usually ask for a hand lifting the screen onto the bracket once it’s already fixed to the wall. That takes a few seconds and keeps a second-technician charge off your invoice. A screen that size behaves differently depending on what it’s going onto, too — a stone or masonry surround holds the extra weight on a handful of deep anchors, where the framed wall beside it can usually spread it across more of them.
Got a Stone Fireplace or a Feature Wall to Plan Around?
The anchors and the position get decided together on those. Send a photo and we’ll tell you what it takes.
TV Mounting Prices in Caledon
Here’s what the jobs we get asked about most start at. Every number below is a starting point — we’ll confirm your exact price once we’ve seen the TV and the wall.
| The job | Price |
|---|---|
| Fixed or tilt mount TV up to 65", regular drywall | from $179.99 |
| Full-motion mount TV up to 65", regular drywall | from $189.99 |
| Wire concealment Regular drywall | from $99.99 |
| TVs above 75" Call for an exact quote | from $200 |
| Frame TV or LG G-series Up to 65", regular drywall | from $259.99 |
| Frame TV or LG G-series 77" and up | from $299.99 |
| Metal mount installation above a fireplace | from $399.99 |
| Above fireplace, under cabinets, marble or stone walls | Call to confirm |
Prices exclude hardware and are estimates only. We confirm your final price by phone or email once we’ve seen photos and the details of your setup.
What moves the number is the size of the screen, what the wall is made of, and where the TV needs to sit. Marble, stone, under-cabinet and above-fireplace jobs take longer and need different anchors, so we quote those directly.
Send a photo of the TV, the wall and where you want it, and we’ll quote the whole job before we arrive.
No Two Caledon Jobs Are Alike
Caledon’s big enough that a morning job and an afternoon one can have nothing in common — a new subdivision at one end, a stone-fronted place on a rural lot at the other. Same town, different job entirely.
-
Bolton grew, the villages mostly didn’t
Most of Caledon’s recent building has landed at the south end, around Bolton and Mayfield West, close to the Brampton edge. Caledon East, Inglewood, Alton and Palgrave have stayed villages. Two different kinds of house, a short drive apart, and we quote them differently because the walls behind the drywall aren’t the same age.
-
North of Caledon East it changes again
Past the villages the lots get bigger and the houses get more individual — stone fronts, tall great rooms, the occasional converted farmhouse. No two of those are laid out the same way, so a job here rarely repeats the last one, even down the same concession road.
-
Apartments barely register here
There are a few blocks around Bolton and very little else. Nearly every Caledon job is in a house, and the further north you go the bigger those houses get, which is more about lot size than the town growing upward.
Caledon Properties and Their Walls
-
Larger rural and estate properties
Bigger rooms change the decisions before anything is drilled. Viewing distance affects screen height and bracket choice, and a large room often suits a tilting or full-motion mount where a small one wouldn't.
Wall construction varies widely out here. We won't assume drywall over studs — the first job is establishing what's behind the finish. A property with an addition or two might have three different wall types in one sightline.
-
Bolton's newer streets are a different build than the old villages
Bolton and Mayfield West are recent enough that the drywall sits over standard-spaced studs, which makes for a fast, predictable install. Caledon East, Inglewood, Alton and Palgrave kept their older plaster and brick well past when Bolton moved on to drywall.
We check which build era we're in rather than guessing from the street name, since a stud finder reads old plaster and lath poorly and a wrong guess means an extra hole.
-
Village housing and commercial units
In the villages you'll find older plaster and brick alongside newer drywall, sometimes in the same house after a renovation. We verify by hand rather than trusting a scanner.
For business premises, screens are mounted high and clear with cable properly contained, including multi-screen setups where a space needs them, and paperwork sorted with the property manager ahead of the visit if the site needs it.
Who we are
About Us
Caledon runs from Bolton’s newer streets at the south end to villages like Caledon East and Alton that have barely changed, with big-lot estates filling in the country between them. GTA TV Wall Mounting treats the wall as the starting question every time, rather than assuming what a Caledon address usually means, and plans wire concealment around whichever wall it turns out to be.
Bolton’s storefronts and offices get the same insurance paperwork as a farmhouse gets a fireplace mount — video wall installations and smart board setups included, quoted through the identical process rather than a separate commercial track. Monitor installation for offices follows the same routine.
-
Credentials Matter
Two separate outside platforms have recognized the work, not just us saying so. Homestars gave us its Best Of award every year from 2018 to 2023 — that comes from customer reviews on their platform, not a submission we made.
Houzz ran its own Best Of Service award through the renovation and design community for 2018 through 2021. Neither one is something we can renew by asking; homeowners voted with reviews. -
Safety
On a rural or estate property the wall behind the TV is less predictable, so we check it can carry the weight before committing to a spot, and match the anchors to what the wall is made of. Guessing from across the room isn't part of the process. Cabling is routed clear of foot traffic, and the finished job gets tested and double-checked before we leave the property.

Our Services
Three bracket types, and Caledon’s spread-out geography puts real weight behind picking the right one: a long rural room usually wants the reach of full-motion, while a stone hearth often rules it out entirely. Whichever it is, it’s priced on its own line, separate from the install.
-
Fixed and Tilting Mounts
The default in a Bolton subdivision living room, one wall, one seating area. Fixed sits flat; tilting angles down, useful where a fireplace pushes the mount higher.
-
Full-Motion Mounts
Earns its price out where the rooms open up — north of Caledon East, mostly — letting the screen swing toward a seat that isn’t dead-centre on the wall.
-
Bringing your own bracket?
Send the make, model and screen size with your quote and we’ll confirm it’s rated to hold, whatever the wall turns out to be.
-
TV Wall Mounting
Find real structure first — stud, block or solid stone — then set the height to match the seating and get the screen level.
-
Samsung Frame TV Installation
The Frame hangs almost flush, so the bracket only gets one real attempt. We route the One Connect cable before the first hole goes in, stone surrounds included.
-
Wire Concealment
Disappears inside the wall on newer Bolton-area drywall, and runs in a slim painted channel across the stone and block more common further north.
-
Above-Fireplace Mounting
Structure, mantel depth and heat get checked before we commit to a height, village fireplace or rural stone alike.
-
Soundbar Mounting
Set level with the screen and positioned to project the sound, cable tucked away the same as the TV’s own run.
-
Condo & Commercial Installation
Insurance certificates ready for Bolton’s offices and retail units, plus the concrete-wall work that comes with condo bookings.
-
Projector Installation
Ceiling mounts for a home theatre or a boardroom, cable routed overhead instead of hanging across the room.
-
Video Walls & SmartBoards
Multi-screen setups for showrooms and offices, SmartBoards for classrooms and meeting rooms, wherever in Caledon they’re needed.

Questions we get asked
TV Mounting in Caledon: Common Questions
What does TV mounting cost around Caledon?
Installation starts at $179.99. That buys a fixed or tilting mount on standard drywall for screens up to 65 inches. Full-motion is $189.99, wire concealment starts at $99.99, and a fireplace-rated metal mount is $399.99. Those cover installation only — the mount itself and any cabling are quoted as separate line items. A photo of the wall gets you an exact number fast.
We've got a stone fireplace — can you mount above it?
Almost always. Stone takes a hammer drill and sleeve or wedge anchors set into the mass rather than the surface. What decides the job is mantel depth and how much heat the firebox puts out, not whether the stone will hold — we check both before committing to a height.
Does an 80-inch TV need two installers?
For a few seconds, yes. Past roughly 65 inches we'll ask you to help lift the panel onto the bracket once it's hung, which keeps a second-technician charge off your invoice. On large glass, 75 or 85 inches, some jobs do call for two installers regardless of your help, and we'll flag that when we confirm the booking rather than surprise you on the day.
Our great room has a 20-foot wall — where should the TV go?
Wherever the seating is, not the visual centre of the wall. Big rural rooms make the middle look right from the doorway and wrong from the couch. We walk the room with you, sit where you'll sit, and pick the height and position from there before anything gets marked.
Can the cables disappear completely?
Behind a wood-framed wall, yes — the run goes inside and nothing shows below the screen. Stone and masonry can't take a cable run through the structure, so we fit a slim channel and paint it to match instead. Neither looks like an afterthought.
Do you install the Samsung Frame TV?
Yes. Because it hangs almost flush, the bracket position has to be right on the first try — no second chances once it's up. We level it to the wall, not the ceiling, and route the One Connect cable before any drilling starts.
Do we need to buy a bracket first?
No — tell us the screen size and where it's going and we'll bring the right fixed, tilting or full-motion mount. Already own one? Send the make and model and we'll confirm it's rated for your TV before the appointment.
Are you covered for rural properties and commercial units?
Yes. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial liability insurance, and the certificate goes to a property manager or site contact on request. Every installation carries a one-year material and workmanship warranty, farmhouse or storefront.
