The brief
Cabling That Still Makes Sense in Three Years
Data cabling is one of those jobs where the difference between good and bad work is invisible on day one and obvious on day four hundred. Anyone can get a link light. What costs money later is a rack nobody can trace, runs that were never labelled, and terminations done in a hurry.
This job was the whole chain: runs pulled through the building to each work position, terminated to RJ45 at both ends, punched down and dressed into the cabinet so that every cable has an identifiable start and finish. The photos below are the server room and the terminations, which is the part that usually gets hidden and forgotten.
