The brief

Two Screens on One Wall, and Why That Is Harder

One screen on a wall only has to be level. Two screens on the same wall have to be level, the same height as each other, and evenly spaced — and the eye is unforgiving about all three. A few millimetres of drop between two panels is instantly visible in a way that the same error on a single screen never is.

This was a repeat visit for Direct Response Media Group, who we had already done structured cabling for. That helped: we already knew how the building was wired, so the signal and power for both screens could follow routes that already existed instead of cutting new ones.

Metal-stud office partition, anchored for real weight
Cable routed into the existing building runs
Screens usable from across an open office floor
Installed without taking the office offline

What we did

Both bracket positions set out together before drilling either
Toggle anchors rated to each panel, not to the drywall
Heights matched off a common datum, then checked screen-to-screen
Power and signal fed through existing concealed routes
Both screens levelled, sources tested, site left clean
